A ROBOT TANK ON WORLD WAR 2?????

Yeah, tank busting dogs were not as effective as they seemed. Only tore up about 35 tanks total.

i have draw a goliath tank armed with panzerschrek, just to see how it would looks like and i am trying to find the practical use of this new tank if this tank would be made during the war.

instead of having 1100kg dynamite, the tank
*would armed with panzerschrek that can automatically reloaded 4 times.
*Manual reload is possible in case of motor malfuntion during battle
*A modified MP-40 with 50 bullets inside (slower fire rate to conserve bullets), manual reload is also avaliable
*Small torch light for night operation
*One time Gernade thrower to eliminate risk for soldiers to go into range and throw the gernades
*Mirror installed on the tank, so soldiers can see the corner in rural battle
*Users can take the panzerschrek away from the tank and use it as one weapon
*Perfect to protect tank units against another tank

Sources please.

My understanding was that they were experimenting with this technology and had performed successful operational tests of wire guided anti-shipping missiles however they were not in “regular use” as you claim.

i know its ugly, i will modify it in a few days

just interested how it will looks like if goliath tank would armed with panzerschrek

I know they used the Fritz on ships in the Med in 1943:

Most of the others didnt get into service though.

They worked well and are credited with a sinking.

I think this was more the case that after capturing one the brits could jam them and so made them unreliable. I also remember something about the RAF lying in wait for the attacking aircraft who were valuable at the time of launch?

I look forward to see the picture(s) posted!![/quote]

Unfortunately, car problems mean that the trip was postponed. When the car is fixed, I’ll go down and get some photos.
