Anyone interested in Physics or Math?

I’m in level Geometry in 10th Grade. I have a 90 in the class, and I never do homework. I wasn’t good at Algebra I (I had an 84 at the end of the year) so I’m going to stay in level Algebra II.

What bothers me about Algebra is that some of the stuff could easily be solved by a proportion (the easy stuff), but you must go through an elaborate equation just to figure it out.

Trust me it all starts to make sense when you get to calculus! Make actually becomes quite fun later when you start to understand what the hell to do with it. Thats the problem with math when your young its hard to see where all this is going.

Looks like I’ve come a bit late to this thread!

I recently became the proud owner of letters after my name - “MEng(Hons) ARAeS” - which makes me something of an Aeronautical Engineer

which I guess means I must like similar sorts of Maths and Physics to that which floats Crab’s boat. Although I’ve taken the “fun”, less Mathmatical end of the profession - the testing of cool aeroplanes and associated cool stuff for a living!

The Maths and Physics is interesting but not as fun as the practice, imho. But for the practice to make sense, you need to know the Maths and Physics. And even I must admit that I find a certain beauty to “e” - that precious number where d(e^x)/dx = e^x thus making life so much easier!!!
