Anyone know my father, Captain Peter James DeFranco?

Hello all,

I am trying to get some information on my father, Captain Peter James DeFranco. He died a few years ago and I would like to know a little more about his military service.

He was a Viet Nam Combat veteran and also served in Panama a bit (according to his DD214).

If anyone served with him could you please e mail me at santinodefranco@gmail.com? I know he was a highly decorated service member and I would love to hear more about him.

Check his last unit on the 214.
Also any other unit references you might find.

Many have associations that have newsletters and reunions.

Easily found with google, etc.

His last assignment says Hqe 2d Bde 82d Abn Division.

If anyone knew him I’d love to hear from you.
