Well anyone could answer this. What do you all think about Israel and Libano.

What we all think about Israel and Lebanon have nothing to do with Argentinean Military unless UN will decide to send Argentineans in Lebanon as peace keeping forces.

Check the other threads to find the answer.

Some documentation about the Argentine Assault rifle FARA 81, only a thousand of this 5,56mm weapons were made, is still in use by some paratroopers units.

I use that, is very accurable, but in the Ca tell me ther is no replacements.
I prefer this gun for operations in the mountain. is very rugged.

ah, and the real name is FARA 83

Si esa fue designacion final.

Some nice videos of the S-2E tracker operating in the Mid-80s onboard the aircraft carrier 25 de mayo.

A couple of rare guns, the Stg 44AR in 7,92 mm kurz and the Garand for the 7,65x54mm argentine cartrigde. The further developmet of this were dropped in favor of the FAL. Both were made in very few numbers by the Military factory of Rosario.

To be continued…

i cant read french or spanish, so does it mean argentina is going to use STG44 in their military?

Yes, but the Military at that time does not content with simply test it, they manufacted both also. The Garand was at that time a little outdated ( early 1950) but the argentine Sturmgewehr was very promising.
