Both Tigers you have work to do.
Hiddenrug, your “American” sniper appears to be in Korea and is using an Australian rifle, one incidentally deemed by the British to be “unsuitable for active service”…
It should also be noted that the image is called “Australian sniper”…
MoS, could you help Hiddenrug finding a picture of an American sniper?
From http://www.authenticmilitaria.com/periodphotos/american.htm
'03 Springfield sniper from the 410th Infantry, 103rd Infantry Division
Fair enough MoS?
Or also this rifle (you know by far better than me its type) is “unsuitable for active service”?
…well it have no scope, so they could rename the picture “American sharpshooter”, couldn’t they?
@Hiddenrug
You could use whatever you want as sig (as far as it doesn’t insult, harm, etc, others). If MoS is harmed by your actual signature, he knows the procedures.
Here’s an idea for an avatar for our vet.

Iwo Jima Flag raising. Or I would gladly make a new one
I modified the pic of the American Sniper that Dani posted, here it is.

It is an Australian Sniper n who really cares if the Brits deemed unsuitable for active service. If it works it works!
Thanks mate very much apreciated.
That is a great idea for the picture, how about a colored flag?
I think it adds a little emphasis on the situation?

The point being that it doesn’t work well enough…

Nice one SS Tiger.
Agreed SS Tiger! I like the contrast between the colored flag and the black and white soldiers. Looks great!
This is a thread to be filled with avatar work by Hanz Lutz. I believe that everyone is entitled to use the avatars as long as you do not claim that they are your own works. I will fill this thread periodically as new avatars are sent to me. This thread will be locked so that it is easier to browse through and find what you are looking for. :!:
First installments:
Enjoy!

Would be nice if you could put a name or caption by the avatars in the future. I know its not always possible.
