Belgian Beer

On February 4, 1945, Allied Forces successfully liberated Belgium from Axis occupation. Although it didn’t mean that the war was over, it gave the soldiers a short time to relax. Pictured are two Canadian soldiers enjoying a brief moment of peace and sample a well-deserved glass of local beer.
