Las pérdidas de La Argentina
La cantidad de efectivos argentinos fallecidos durante el conflicto, asciende a 649 hombres, mientras que 1.082 resultaron heridos; resultando un total de 1.703 bajas.

Efectivos fallecidos: 266. Alrededor de 700 efectivos resultaron heridos.
FUERZA AÉREA ARGENTINA
La Fuerza Aérea Argentina sufrió la pérdida de 55 hombres. En su mayoría tripulantes de vuelo,treinta y seis oficiales, catorce suboficiales y cinco soldados. Sumado a éstos, cuarenta y siete combatientes resultaron heridos, totalizando 101 bajas.
Aeronaves
Las pérdida de aeronaves de la Fuerza Aérea, asciende a 47, más 13 helicópteros.
ARMADA ARGENTINA
Perdieron la vida 325 hombres.
Buques
El Crucero Gral. Belgrano y el submarino Sta. Fé fueron hundidos. El crimen contra el Crucero se llevó 323 vidas.
Aviación Naval
Perdió 9 aviones, y 3 hombres.
Prefectura Naval
Perdieron la vida 2 hombres de la Prefectura, se suman 4 heridos. Un avión de la Prefectura resultó destruido.
Fueron dañados: Guardacostas GC-83 Río Iguazú (inutilizado), Prefectura Islas Malvinas, Formosa (marina mercante).
Hundidos: Isla de los Estados, Carcarañá.
Recordemos que son pequeñas embaraciones, incomparables con un buque de guerra, que aunque así y todo lograron su objetivo.
Las pérdidas de Gran Bretaña
Antes de hablar de números, cabe aclarar, que Inglaterra no dijo nunca el verdadero número de bajas. Se estima que asciende a mas 1.000 muertos en combate y el doble de heridos.
- Se comprueba según relatos que el BIM 5 (Batallon de Infantería de Marina 5), produjo las bajas más sustanciales sufridas por la Infanteria británica en la conquista de las Islas Malvinas, que asciende a los 300 muertos.
- Tampoco son reales los datos de la armada inglesa ya que perdieron muchos buques con gran parte de su tripulación, alrdedor de 640 hombres.
- Al quedar al descubierto que en una sola batalla Inglaterra haya perdido 300 hombres, es evidente que en el resto de las islas también sufrió bajas de consideración y que hasta hoy se ocultan.

Tomando en cuenta las cifras oficiales aceptadas por Gran Bretaña, resultaron muertos 255 hombres durante las operaciones, ascendiendo la cifra del personal herido a 777; en total: 1032 bajas. Esta cantidad demuestra, claramente, que fue uno de los más altos porcentajes de pérdidas sufridas por Gran Bretaña, desde la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Durante los cuarenta y cuatro días de combate en el Atlántico Sur, los ingleses sufrieron bajas a razón de casi seis hombres por día de combate; mientras que durante el conflicto con mayores pérdidas numéricas (Corea), la cantidad asciende a once hombres por mes, aproximadamente.

No se sabe exactamente la cantidad de aeronaves perdidas por el Reino Unido, ya que como en el caso de las bajas de personal, las cifras oficiales son dudosas. Los registros propios hablan de las siguientes cifras:

De los 40 buques de guerra enviados por Gran Bretaña (a esto habría que sumarle los mas de 100 transportes de apoyo de la “Royal Auxiliar”), el 65% fue averiado, y el 20% de los buques resultaron hundidos.
Las cifras indican que treinta y dos buques fueron alcanzados por los misiles de aviones argentinos, de los cuales, la mitad sufrió ataques en más de una oportunidad. Para suerte de la Task Force, de la gran cantidad de bombas MK-17 lanzadas, sólo dos hicieron explosión (HMS Ardent, 21 de mayo y HMS Antelope, 23 de mayo; esta última, mientras se intentaba su desarme. En ambos casos los buques resultaron hundidos).
Más de una decena de estas bombas no estallaron, o simplemente atravesaron los buques limpiamente, lo cierto es que el poder de la MK-17 es tal, que se estima que, ante la acción de una de ellas, hubiera correspondido la destrucción de la nave que la recibiera.
Los buques que fueron atacados con el misil Exocet, fueron hundidos, con excepción del Glamorgan y el Hermes (que quedaron inutilizados). Aunque el Hermes fue reparado en la Isla Ascensión para que luego regrese a la zona del conflicto.
ACTOS HEROICOS
Batallón de Infanteria de Marina 5
El día 14 de junio a las 11 horas, el Capitán de Fragata Carlos H. Robacio, jefe del BIM 5 informó al comando superior:
“Mis hombres, un Batallón reforzado con dos Compañías han luchado contra el Segundo Batallón de Guardias Escoseses; Primero y Séptimo de Fusileros Gurkas y parte del Batallón de Guardias Galeses. También nos hemos enfrentado contra el Escuadrón 42 de Comandos de Infantería de Marina. Hemos producido las bajas más sustanciales sufridas por la Infanteria británica en la conquista de las Islas Malvinas.”
A las 12:30 horas el Capitán Robacio recibió la orden de repliegue pues ya habían cesado las hostilidades.
Pocos momentos después de haber recibido la orden de repliegue, son atacados desde helicópteros, dos de los cuales fueron derribados por hombres del BIM 5.
El día 14 de junio a las 14:30 horas, el BIM 5 entró desfilando y portando casi todas sus armas a Puerto Argentino.
El total de bajas del BIM 5 fue de 16 muertos, y 68 heridos, los ingleses sufrieron más de 300 bajas. Con ello quedó demostrado que el enemigo no declaró nunca las cifras reales.
La Prefectura Naval
El día 13 de abril arribaron a Malvinas los Guardacostas “Islas Malvinas” y “Río Iguazú”, luego de haber navegado 600 millas en el océano burlando el bloqueo inglés.
Fueron desigandos exclusivamente para ejercer funciones policiales, pero se comportaron como experimentados combatientes.
El patrullaje casi permanente logró detectar al enemigo e impidió la incursión de buzos tácticos o comandos enemigos. Guiaron a los buques mercantes abriéndoles camino por los canales minados, trasladaron personal y material bélico hasta la Isla Soledad, y otros puntos del archipiélago.
La tripulación repelió el ataque de los aviones “Sea Harrier” con fuego de fusilería y armas portátiles, luego de trabarse las metralladoras antiaéreas.
La aviación de la Prefectura, compuesta por tres aviones y tres helicópteros, realizaron misiones extremadamente riesgosas, ya que muchas veces se vieron entre dos fuegos: el del enemigo y el de la artillería de la costa.
Fuerza Aérea
Operando desde su base en Río Grande, el 4 de mayo de 1982, los 10 pilotos argentinos, que eran los únicos en el país entrenados para los vuelos de los Super Etendard, pertenecientes a la segunda escuadrilla Naval de Caza y Comabate, perpetraron un demoledor ataque al destructor 42 HMS Sheffield. El cual se terminó de hundir el 10 de mayo.
Había cinco aviones, de los cuales uno se utilizaba para disponer de repuestos, y cinco misiles para llevar a Malvinas.
El 4 de mayo se recibieron varias señales, una de ellas provenía de un buque tipo 42. Tomada la posición del barco, en 15 segundos se envió la información del contacto.
El día del ataque al Sheffield, la misión del Neptune (los únicos países que todavía tenían los aviones Neptune eran Francia y La Argentina) duró desde las 5 hasta las 13, el cual hizo un vuelo de reconocimiento sobre la zona.
Los pilotos fueron despertados temprano y planificaron el ataque. A las 9:30 subieron a los aviones y despegaron. Se volaba bajo para evitar el contacto con los radares y las defensas aéreas del enemigo. Las condiciones meteorológicas eran malas, y aunque no era un día para volar la misión continuó. Los pilotos Bedacarratz y Mayora prepararon sus misiles y atacaron al blanco (misil Exocet 650 kilos).
21 de los tripulantes del destructor perdieron la vida y luego se hundió.
Sandy Woodward comandante de la Fuerza de Tareas británica admitió que lo que hicieron los aviadores argentinos causó un gran impacto político en Londres y que además le arruinaron la vida en Malvinas.
La realidad es que tan solo 10 pilotos argentinos, cuatro aviones franceses Super Etendard y cinco misiles Exocet le complicaron la vida al casi invencible león inglés.
Un espía en la Marina Británica
Carlos Benchetrit : Capitán de marina mercante.
A comienzos del mes de abril de 1982, Benchetrit comandaba el ELMA Río de la Plata, en un viaje por el norte europeo.
El 5 de abril, navegando en aguas internacionales próximas a la costa inglesa, captó una transmisión de la televisión británica mostrando la salida de los portaaviones Invincible y Hermes. Gran parte de la flota reunida por los ingleses se concentró en la Isla Ascensión.
El 19 de abril, el Río de la Plata navegaba hacia Buenos Aires, cuando recibió un telegrama cifrado de ELMA, el cual decía que debía ir a la Isla Ascensión para hacer avistajes. Además debía mantenerse alrededor de 18 kms. de distancia por su seguridad.
El 23 de abril, el Río de la Plata llegó a la isla. Había alrdedor de 15 buques, y ninguno advirtió la presencia del mercante argentino. Como los barcos ingleses tenían un alcance largo en sus comunicaciones, entraron en la banda VHF, donde se podían escuchar las conversaciones de barco a barco. También colocaron un grabador para poder grabar lo que decían, y de esa forma se pudo saber que es lo que hacían.
En aquella travesía el marino no estaba solo, lo acompañaba un segundo oficial, Armando Busto, quien conocía sobre buques de guerra y su hija.
Habiendo enviado un mensaje cifrado con todos los datos, Benchetrit dirigió su nave a Buenos Aires. Pero la historia no había terminado.
Tras haber dejado la isla, el capitán recibe un nuevo telegrama de ELMA, donde se le ordenaba regresar a la isla para obtener nuevos datos de los buques británicos, y de ser posible, fotografiarlos.
Esta vez debían estar más cerca que antes. Por eso trataron de camuflar el Río de la Plata para que pensaran que era un pesquero.
Se acercaron hasta 4 kms. de los buques ingleses, donde fotografiaron todo lo que pudieron. Entre otras vieron a la fragata Antelope, al Sir Galahad, al Sir Tristan, al Canberra, que era sobrevolado continuamente por los helicópteros Sea King.
Más tarde los helicópteros comenzaron a sobrevolar por encima de ellos.
Cuando se advirtío la presencia del Río de la Plata, los ingleses dieron la alarma general. Los helicópteros sobrevolaban sobre ellos, por lo que Benchetrit, recogió todos los materiales y datos que habían recopilado en una bolsa dispuesto a fondearlos ni bien aborden el barco.
Al retirarse, con la preocupación de ser atacados, marcharon rumbo a Montevideo.
Luego se dirigió a Buenos Aires, donde entregó el material recolectado.
El departamento de Inteligencia Naval de la Armada le entregó un plato con una inscripción y un diploma, en reconocimiento de su gran tarea.
Aunque parezca mentira, Benchetrit y sus acompañantes no fueron reconocidos como veteranos de la guerra de Malvinas
LAS PÉRDIDAS BRITÁNICAS EN LAS ISLAS MALVINAS
LA VERDADERA HISTORIA
Una vez terminada la guerra de Malvinas, el gobierno británico dispuso un acta de secreto militar hasta el día 14 de junio de 2072, es decir, 90 años. Hasta ese momento aquellos que divulgen o den a conocer algún dato o información que se encuentre en ese documento serán procesados ante Corte Marcial.
Por ahora nadie a hablado sobre el contenido del acta de secreto, pero seguramente uno de los puntos principales son las grandes pérdidas de vidas humanas que ha sufrido el Reino Unido, durante la Gesta de Malvinas. Sin olvidar también, la pérdida de gran cantidad de vehículos de desplazamiento, tanto aéreos como marítimos.
Las cifras oficiales británicas son de 255 caídos y 777 heridos. Si se toma en cuenta el solo hecho de que el atacante siempre tiene mas bajas que el defensor, esa cifra es totalmente absurda y mentirosa.
A continuación se muestra día a día las bajas que sufrió Gran Bretaña desde su llegada a las Georgias el día 23 de abril hasta el 14 de junio de 1982, cuando las islas son usurpadas nuevamente (En negro se detalla la cantidad de bajas por cada día de combate):

12/05: 4 El HMS Glasgow (o Glascow), queda fuera de combate (2+). Ataque al HMS Brilliant (2+).
17/05: 1 (1) es derribado helicóptero Sea King en costas argentinas
18/05: 22 Helicóptero Sea King chocó con Albatros (según fuentes argentinas fue derribado).
19/05: 1 (1) Cae helicóptero Sea King y muere un experto en SAS.
21/05: 32 Dos Gazelles derribados en San Carlos (3). Es hundido el HMS Ardent (22). Son dejados fuera de combate: HMS Argonaut (2), HMS Antrim (1+), HMS Brilliant (2). Es dañado el HMS Broadsword (2).
22/05: 1 Es derribado un Harrier.
23/05: 8 Un Harrier se estrelló en salida nocturna del portaaviones Hermes (1). Es hundido el HMS Antelope (7).
24/05: 10 Fueron dañados los siguientes buques: HMS Sir Lancelot (2), HMS Sir Galahad, HMS Sir Bedivere (2), HMS Fearless (6+). En el caso del Fearless, se estima un número mucho mayor, ya que en ese momento tenía una tripulación de mas de 500 hombres y llevaba alrededor de 300 soldados para desembarcar en San Carlos.
25/05: 113 Son abatidos tres Harriers (3). Son hundidos: HMS Coventry (70+) (se hundió en menos de 20 minutos con una tripulación de 268) , HMS Atlantic Conveyor (20). Son dejados fuera de combate: HMS Broadsword (, HMS Sir Lancelot (10). Son dañados: HMS Alacrity (1), HMS Yarmouth (1).
27/05: 11 Mueren siete infantes de marina en San Carlos (7). Son derribados tres helicópteros Gazelles, y un Sea King (4).
28/05: 136 Dos helicópteros Sea King derribados, mas un Scout (3). Muere un soldado en la isla Gran Malvina (1). Entre el 27 y el 29 de mayo mueren (130) hombres del 2 Para y del Royal Auxiliar en la Batalla por Darwin.
30/05: 44 Desde el 23 al 30 de mayo mueren (3 hombres en la Batalla por Pradera del Ganso. Sea Harrier se estrella (1). Es atacado el portaaviones HMS Invincible (5+), el cual sufre 1 Exocet y dos bombas de 250 kgs. cada una. Según fuentes extraoficiales el portaaviones se hundió. De ser esa teoría cierta (muy probable) las cifras serían mucho mayores que cinco bajas.
08/06: 162 Ataque en Fitz Roy. Son hundidos: HMS Sir Galahad (89), HMS Sir Tristam (40), lanchón de desembarco (LCU) Foxtrot (10+) (aunque no estaba lleno de soldados, debido a que transportaba material logístico, las bajas pueden ser mayores). Mueren (8+) chinos en la playa, debido a los fuertes bombardeos.
Es dejado fuera de combate el HMS Avenger (5). Es atacado el HMS Plymouth en Bahía Agradable (10), por cinco misiles de la aviación argentina.
09/06: 18 Mte. Dos Hermanas, comandos del SAS.
10/06: 4 Perecen (4) infantes de marina por accidente.
11/06: 44 Mueren entre el 11 y el 12 de junio: (3) en Mte. Harriet, (23) del 3 Para en Mte. Longdon, (4) del 45 de comandos, (1) del 42 de comandos, (13) de la compañía B.
12/06: 29 (4) en Mte. Dos Hermanas. Es dejado fuera de combate el HMS Glamorgan (25), siendo atacado por segunda vez, aunque en esta ocasión por un Exocet desde Puerto Argentino.
13/06: 360 entre el 13 y 14 de junio por las Batallas de Mte. Longdon, Mte. Wiiliams y Wireless Ridge.
14/06: 10 (5) en Zapper Hill, dos Sea King son derribados. Combate en Top Malo House (5).
TOTAL: 1053 caídos, sin contar un posible número mayor (+).

Gran Bretaña nunca declaró el verdadero número de bajas de sus tropas ni la pérdida de numeroso armamento. Fue inferior a La Argentina y queda demostrado por el gran daño sufrido, que supera ampliamente al que recibió Argentina.
Si hoy las islas se encuentran en posesión británica es gracias a la ayuda que Gran Bretaña recibió de los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, y demás miembros de la OTAN. Sin olvidar a la mayoría de los países europeos (excepto Irlanda e Italia), quienes sancionaron económicamente a la Argentina.
Relatos de crímenes en Malvinas
Testimonios de soldados argentinos:
“Al llegar a la cima nos encontramos con el Cabo Pedemonte que estaba herido. No pudimos auxiliarlo, nos escondimos detrás de unas rocas, y desde allí vimos que los ingleses lo golpearon y le ordenaron que se quitara el casco, tambien le sacaron sus armas y su campera. De pronto, uno saca una ametralladora y le tiran cinco balazos en la cabeza. Nos miramos y pensamos: está muerto.”
“Resulté herido cuando me replegaba desde Tumble Down hacia el cerro Dos Hermanas. De pronto vimos venir un helicóptero y pensamos que era un aparato de rescate. Dos de mis comapñeros hicieron señas y ví como les disparaban a pesar de estar con los brazos en alto. ¿Ellos no habían recibido la información del cese de las hostilidades?, pensé. Yo pude esconderme detrás de una gran piedra. Desde allí observé que ese helicóptero estaba ultimando sistemáticamente a los heridos. Lo hacía con verdadera saña.”
“Fui combatiente en Darwin, como mimbro del grupo de Artillería Aerotransportada 4. Cuando caímos prisioneros nos alojaron en un galpón. Los ingleses seleccionaron a un grupo de nosotros para que recogiéramos municiones, artefactos explosivos y cuerpos que habían quedado en el campo de batalla. Ese mismo día se produjo una gran explosión y las esquirlas perforaron las chapas. A través de esos orificios vimos con horror a cinco soldados argentinos que habían sido mutilados por la onda expansiva.
Gritaban fuerte, muy fuerte… Inmediatamente fueron ejecutados por los ingleses.”
“Encontré otro día a un muchacho de otro Regimiento. Caminaba con la mirada perdida, semienloquecido. Había tenido un encuentro con el Primer Batallón de Fusileros Gurkas del Duque de Edimburgo. Él había conseguido sobrevivir a la feroz matanza que hicieron. Me contó que violaron y mutilaron a los pobres soldados tomados por sorpresa.”
“Como habían pasado varias horas y nosotros seguíamos resitiendo, los ingleses nos intimidaron para rendirnos o bombardearían Puerto Darwin con fuego naval, inclusive con los kelpers que manteníamos prisioneros.”
“Al final tuve que firmar un acuerdo por el cual jamás me levantaría en armas contra el gobierno inglés, o de otra forma me fusilarían.”
“Yo estaba en Puerto Darwin, prisionero con otros 1.050 argentinos. Fuimos obligados por soldados ingleses a trasladar municiones. Delante mismo de nuestros ojos vimos cuando explotó un proyectil y algunos soldados quedaron despedazados.”

“…y encontramos a un grupo de cinco o seis efectivos que estaban golpeando a unos “argies”(argentinos) que gritaban. A uno le dieron con la culata en plena cara… A pocos metros otro tipo le clavaba la bayoneta a un “argie”. Descargó todo el peso del cuerpo sobre el fusil para que la bayoneta se metiera bien adentro.”
“Todos volvimos al claro que acabábamos de cruzar. Nos separamos y esperamos el siguiente desplazamiento. A unos diez metros a la derecha venía un argentino. Le habían tirado al pecho y gritaba sosteniéndose la herida. Un tipo de la Compañia B atravesó el claro y le clavó la bayoneta. A los gritos del argentino, trató de quitársela entes de morir. Nuestro soldado le decía: ¡No grites más hijo de p…!
El enemigo murió en el mismo instante en el que le clavaron la bayoneta. Nuestro soldado volvió a su lugar como si nada hubiera pasado.
A mi derecha tres argentinos lloraban agarrándose la cabeza. ¿Serían amigos del que acababa de morir?”
“Miramos al suelo, era un “argie” herido. Me miraba fijo, tal vez suplicando, preso de dolor.
-¡Apártese!- gritó el sargento Pettinger.
El sargento le apuntó y le pegó dos tiros en la cabeza.
Lo patié como si fuera una pelota de futbol…”
“De pronto se oyó un grito desgarrador. Después de un disparo vimos a un argentino cayendo barranca abajo. El oficial al mando se levantó de un salto cuando oyó más gritos y vio como un soldado moría de un tiro en la cabeza. Un grupo se acercó al lugar. Abajo, nuestros compañeros enterraban a unos argentinos “muertos en combate”(asesinados impunemente), a los que se los había llevado allí con ese fin.”
“Los terminábamos de matar hundiéndoles la bayoneta en el ojo, porque sus chalecos eran demasiado gruesos”.
INGLATERRA Y SUS ARMAS NUCLEARES
Al iniciarse el conflicto, Inglaterra sabía muy bien que no podía permitir una victoria Argentina. Por eso envió sus mejores buques de guerra, 29.000 hombres equipados, sus aviones Harriet y por si acaso, cargamento nuclear.
Aunque fue desmentido, se rumoreaba que Inglaterra había traído sus armas atómicas, y luego en diciembre de 2003 se reconoció.
Al iniciarse la recuperación argentina, el gobierno de Thatcher, supo que debía entrar en guerra y seguir con la usurpación de las Malvinas, pero ¿Por qué?
Si llegara a permitir una derrota, las demás colonias inglesas harían lo mismo, y Gran Bretaña entraría en una crisis política y económica.
Este dicho se comprueba al saber que en uno de los últimos días de batalla, se encontraba un grupo de soldados argentinos resisitendo heroicamente, cuando el enemigo intentaba recuperar un galpón con kelpers adentro.
Al no poder ingresar, el invasor amenazó con disparar fuego naval desde sus buques sin importar si impactaría en el galpon donde se ubicaban los pueblerinos.
Cuando en los primeros días de abril, se voto a favor de la Resolución 502, que consistía en el abandono de las tropas argentinas de las islas, Inglaterra pensó que el juego había terminado, pero por las dudas enviaba sus tropas.
Tampoco sirvieron las amenazas de los gobiernos europeos de sancionar economicamente a La Argentina.
Al llegar al 2 de mayo, decidieron terminar la guerra impunemente hundiendo al Crucero Gral. Belgrano, donde Margeret Thatcher mató a 323 hombres y dejando secuelas en 770.
Pero Galtieri aseguró que respondería al ataque y no se rindió, ya que el no sufría consecuencias, pues estaba sentado en un sillón, mientras los heroes argentinos combatían en Malvinas.
Día a día la situación para el gobierno inglés empeoraba: ya estaban gastando más dinero de lo planeado, y comenzaba a sufrir serias bajas ( que hasta el día de hoy se ocultan). Los alimentos se estaban acabando…
Entonces pensó en el plan B: LA BOMBA ATÓMICA.
Por suerte solo lo pensaron.
En dicho plan, figuraban la ciudad de Córdoba y Bahía Blanca como principales objetivos.
Los submarinos atómicos, merodeaban las aguas territoriales argentinas, y estaban preparándose, por las dudas.
Por suerte alguien se dio cuenta que no se podía resistir mas, y dieron por terminada la guerra.
Digo por suerte, porque por más que la guerra hubiese durado y por mas que los combatientes hubiesen tenido toda la tecnología y provisión a su alcance, nos hubieran terminado con sus bombas nucleares, y hubiese sido un terrorífico desenlace.
Aunque si hubiésemos tenido un presidente estratega como San Martin seguramente hubiésemos recuperado las islas…
EL SENTIMIENTO DE LOS KELPERS
Los kelpers eran y son enemigos nuestros. Desde que comenzó la guerra, no dejaron de ayudar a las tropas inglesas.
En un principio, desde Buenos Aires se decía que estaban contentos del cambio de mando.
Pero en realidad no era así. Su actitiud hacia La Argentina era totalmente negativa.
He aquí algunos ejemplos…
Al escuchar la noticia del hundimiento del Sheffield, los habitantes no lo podían creer, pensaron que nunca la Argentina hubiese podido hundir ese barco. Acto seguido comenzaron a respetar a los argentinos apostados en Puerto Argentino.
Queda en claro, que los kelpers, solo respetan la fuerza.
Al director del correo de Puerto Argentino, se lo atrapó tratando de hacer contacto con la armada inglesa.
En la única radio de la isla que seguía funcionando, se emitió constantemente el himno británico y demás canciones patrias inglesas. Ninguno de los oficiales que se ubicaban en las islas los sacó del aire.
Durante el conflicto, los kelpers trataban de obtener información, para pasarla a los británicos. Guiaban a los ingleses hacia donde se tenían que dirigir, una vez que habían desembarcado de San Carlos, facilitándoles su trabajo.
Algunos habitantes decían que si llegaba el caso de que tenían que defender las islas, lucharían contra los soldados argentinos.
Los pobladores de las islas, son muy fríos, no se adaptan facilmente a un cambio. Por eso, es que no ayudaban a los argentinos. Por una razón. No se les aplicaba ningún castigo al descubrir sus maniobras, como las de ayuda a las tropas enemigas, y si a ellos no se les aplica fuerza alguna, no tienen respeto.
La compañia Falkland Island Company, dominadora por décadas de toda la actividad económica de las islas, durante la guerra, sentía cada vez más el peligro de tener que enfrentarse con la competencia argentina y no avizoraba ninguna perspectiva beneficiosa ante un eventual cambio del status de soberanía.
Para los ingleses son considerados “los indios rubios”, ciudadanos de segunda categoría.
A partir del día once de junio, cuando el fuego naval inglés era más intenso en la población de Puerto Argentino, los kelpers sufrían la destrucción de algunas edificaciones, y hasta incluso algunos perdieron la vida. Sin embargo, seguían hechándole la culpa a la Argentina.
Algunos afirman que se tendría que haber indemnizado a los kelpers, y embarcarlos hacia otro territorio, ya que fueron una gran “molestia”, es decir, no fue de gran ayuda para los argentinos por las diversas acciones ya relatadas.
Quién ganó la guerra?
Antes de desarrollar el tema aclaro que la guerra del lado de la Argenitna ya estaba un 90% perdida antes de comenzar, ya que se carecía de una clara táctica de defensa y estrategia entre varios factores. El poderío tecnológico inglés, altamente superior al argentino se vio equilibrado con la gran tarea de la FAA.
A continuación se describirán a las tres fuerzas que actuaron en el conflicto y sus pérdidas de hombres y máquinas. Tanto de Argentina como de Gran Bretaña.

En cuanto a las operaciones realizadas:
_La Task Force Británica implementó un bloqueo aéreo, el cual impedía el paso de aviones argentinos, pero nunca fue efectivo: La Fuerza Aérea Argentina logró con exito burlar a su adversario.
_La Task Force nunca pudo dejar inactivo el aeropuerto de Puerto Argentino a pesar de haber tirado cientos de bombas, a lo largo de todo el conflicto. Una de las razones era que los aviones ingleses volaban muy alto y no acertaban el blanco planeado.
_La Fuerza Aérea Argentina, junto con los aviadores navales, logró destruir a 8 buques enemigos, y averiar a 24.
_No hay que olvidar la diferencia tecnológica entre ambos países.
Conclusión:
Argentina cumplió con su objetivo, y no solo eso sino que logró mucho más, debido a…
…que era la primera participación de la aviación argentina en una guerra.
…su valor fue reconocido hasta por el enemigo.
…logró atacar a la armada inglesa, como no lo había hecho nadie desde la segunda guerra mundial.
Los Aviadores Navales y la Fuerza Aérea fueron quienes lograron con muy poco lo más grande : ADMIRACIÓN Y ORGULLO.
Queda en claro entonces, que la fuerza aérea que logró mas resultados en su favor, y por lo tanto ganó su “guerra” fue la Argentina.

Operaciones realizadas:
La armada inglesa no tuvo rivales, con excepción del heroísmo de Prefectura y los mercantes.
El submarino atómico Conqueror hundió al Crucero Gral. Belgrano, en una acción ilícita.
La armada britanica sufrió los ataques constantes de la aviación argentina donde perdió
importantes buques de guerra.
Cabe destacar los grandes actos de heroísmo de la Prefectura Naval y la Marina Mercante:
_La gran mayoría de las embarcaciones que llegaron a las islas, burlaron el bloqueo naval inglés.
_Se produjeron acciones destacables como:
derribar a un Harrier inglés con una metralleta, provisionar a las tropas argentinas sin ser vistos por el enemigo, escapar de la persecución de un submarino atómico, entre otras.
Conclusión:
Inglaterra fue superior en este campo, ya que no había ninguna embarcación argentina que pudiese hundir un buque de gran tamaño, pero si hubo una gran aviación que dejo desmantelada a la Fuerza de Tareas británica.
