Um, tanker - US jeep, US 37mm ATG - US photo section …

This photo was taken on September 23rd 1940 at Camp Holibard, Maryland USA during evaluation trials by the US Army and shows a BANTAM reconnaissance car. This is the forerunner of the ubiquitous JEEP. The soldiers pictured here are American not British. They are wearing the 1917
style steel helmet (pre M41) which was still being used at that time.Hope this information helps.
