alright German soldier, i am not a female, so the next question will be;
what is this weopon, who used it, was it improved upon and who was the main country to use it? (the photograph is in the attached thumbnails)
It is a rifle with a grenade launcher cup attached. The resolution of the picture is not big enough for me to identify the rifle. The soldier wears a French style “Adrian” helmet, though this helmet was in WW1 also used by the Russians, the Italians and certain (black) American units, which were placed under French command.
Cup discharger attachments were used by several countries, the British had one to fit the SMLE, which would be used to launch Mills Bombs with a base plate attached.

Walther, WRONG, try again. and try to answer it somewhat correctly. even though the attachment was somewhat correct, the person and country wasn’t even close. while the rifle is pretty easy to identify, as it was one of the most common rifles made.
