Tanks and armor quiz (medium level)

Yup. This one was used in Poland.

@ Malarz: Do what you wish…

Stun us.

An odd vehicle with an odd name:

Hiya, SergeJ, and all!

You picked a fairly good looking vehicle, as far as armored vehicles go! I’ll give a few hints to our fellow armor advocates:

  1. It’s a final development of a long line of armored vehicles.
  2. It was nicknamed “turtle” due to it’s sloping armor.
  3. The original design was developed by a car builder who was more sucessful at designing armored vehicles than cars.
  4. His armored vehicles were a flop in his native country.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and a Happy Labor Day to those of us in the US of A!

I just found this thread…how do I start???

That is the Finnish BT-42 Light Assault Gun converted from captured Soviet BT-7 tanks.

The Finnish swastika kinda reveals it quite quickly.

Yes, you’re right!
Please carry on.

Sergej, I think this thread has been forgotten. Why don’t you go ahead?

Ok, this one is easy. What is the most strange in this photo?

Panzerkampfwagen 8 Maus
