If the schools taught better history then Hitler and Jews etc would not be taken as a joke. The more that time goes by, the more we will forget. A person going through airport security complains when he has to take off his shoes because the security asks…yet this same person complains about terrorism. You can’t have it both ways! That pisses me off!
What pisses me off is seeing more Mods on the forum than regular members. Where is everybody? there are 200 unregistered users and only a few registered users that are regulars. Do we really need so many Mods? I mean there’s regular Mods, then Super Mods and then Supreme Uber alles Mods. I wish more people would register and participate in this Great Forum. As it stands, the moment you post something there’s like 3-4 Mods hovering over what you say and reading without commenting ( You can see this by going to the Online feature and see who is reading what) Anyway’s I guess thats the role of the Mods, to make sure they keep it clean, so I take back my complaint. It no longer pisses me off.But it does piss me off that pepole don’t register instaead of being just guests. Come on people Register…so you can communicate with the likes of Me and other great minds alike:)
When you get appointed a mod you agree to check in on the forum at least once a day when you can (e.g. not on holiday, etc.). When nobody else is posting, that means nobody but the mods are actually on the forum! But yeah, it has been rather quiet of late, sadly - although it perked right up when you reappeared 
We’re all “super mods” actually. Some mods can barely do anything even in a single forum they might be in charge of on some boards…
I see that a lot often. Though sometimes I do that myself I at least I am aware of it. I take action not to do those kinds of things. For I feel a bit ashamed for sometimes being a hypocrite. So I avoid it at all cost.
Yeah, I was looking through my “friends” list and a lot of them haven’t been on in ages. Maybe we should post some anti-russian stuff and get chevan and egorka back on here. :mrgreen:
I’d certainly like to see both of them back. They made valuable contributions.
It would also be useful to get their views on the current Ukraine issues, as it would be to get views from Ukrainians.
Actually right as I type this there is 5 of us on and because I am rather new this is the most members I see online ever. Hopefully in the near future there can be more of us online at one time

IIRC, the most I’ve ever seen has been in the high teens, maybe low twenties in the six years I’ve been on. Most people come and go, making comments on threads that interest them. Speaking of egorka, you (Kilroy) ought to check out this thread of egorkas granddads writings of the Russian front from a Russian perspective. Good reading.

This thread is not war related so as the title goes… Things that piss me off…I am so pissed that normal educated people like me don’t have an opportunity to post things (with links) about our thoughts on subjects without being castrated. The fact remains that there are HUNDREDS of unregistered users who frequent this Great forum, and perhaps they don’t become members because they read what and how people are chastised or Banned over issues that don’t warrant it. There were 143 Guests as of 8:29 p.m (Normal Time (NOT Australian time). The world is BIG so we must be open minded. If Chevan were back we would hear his side and we should respect his side. Just because were from America or Australia or wherever, we should not assume that all other members from non American countries should agree on what is posted. We value dissension and learn and grow from this. I have read in previous threads that the old members who meant something from their value of substance are missed, well I just wish they would come back too… I miss the old gang…especially Panzerknacker!!..this guy had balls!!..

It is a pity that we do not have more “active” members on this forum. I do wish that we could see posts, comments and questions from a wider range, not only of our current registered members, but from incoming members among our many regular visitors. Still, the level of interest shown by the consistently high numbers of visitors is encouraging.

What happened to TV news anchors? When I was a kid, a TV news anchor was supposed to be a serious journalist, not just a pretty face. News shows avoided putting overly attractive people in front of the camera because it was feared that the public wouldn’t take them seriously.
Yeah. When I was a kid it only took one news presenter in studio. Now there are a minimum of two. Don’t talk to me about weather bimbos.
