The MP40/II is real, however only a small test series was produced -as kamehouse mentioned- at the weapons’ plant of Steyr (“bnz” markings on the smg). Indeed the MP40/II including the two loaded 32-clip magazines had a weight of 6kg (~13,23 lb.)!
i would certainly like to choose tommy gun with a drum mag…
its not like that i dont like the MP-40…MP-40 was a really sexy gun but had its own drawbacks…soldiers who used it say that you cannot fire more than 4 mags bcoz it got heated and sometimes the soldiers got their hands burnt…
