What is the most famous pic from WW2?

Thanks mate.

Henk

Definately one of the most famous pictures of WWII (hell its even my avatar.)

This one here is also a fairly famous picture from WWII. Its a German soldier who fought in the Battle of the Bulge.

True, that picture is in most WW2 books.

Henk

In my opinion, the best pic is that when the Red Army has conquered the Reichstag.

Too bad there isnt many photos from D-Day…

I heard that there was someone taking photos at the beach, AND surviving, but most of the pictures were destroyed in “dark room accident”.

The USS Arizona burns.

Both of them are in most of my WW2 books and you can always see them in documentaries on TV.

Henk

Both are famous pics, but the second one is more widely seen. I see that one in just about any book talking about Pearl Harbor.

Yes, I meant that they were famous pics.

Famous flag raising by several marines.

Supreme Commander Eisenhower talks to the soldiers of the 101st airborne before D-Day.

This?

Flag at Reichstag.

I see this guy a lot

And these guys
