What music you like???

Italicised comments my own

I think you would like the Dvorak Cello Concerto, I have an excellent recording of Jacqueline du Pre playing both the Elgar and the Dvorak.

Progressive rock 1967-77 (mostly)

Also jazz & heavy Classical music, particularly Russian composers.

To be honest I’ve always found du Pre’s verision somewhat overwrought and well… unEnglish somehow for what is a quintessentially English piece, particularly given the time it was composed in.

Not seen Chavney Spears lately have you Scaley?

I prefer not to old boy, i just watch some of her older videos like ‘hit me baby one more time’

It’s a friendly term Erwin, with the same meaning as “mate”.
A friend, in other words.

You would need a dictionary of English slang, Erwin, like the one quoted below

mucker Noun. Friend. E.g.“Alright my old mucker.” [1940s]

Erwin go back to page 2 of this topic and check my post, fourth from bottom is David Bowie. I felt he lost the plot in the mid 80’s but got back on track in the late 90’s. My favorite album is Diamond Dogs.
My wife and I had “Can you hear me” ( from Young Americans) played as our first slow dance at our wedding, many years ago.
