and i do see why his considered a hero to Turkey, and you people can see why his considered a monster in the Balkans and Armenia and Assyria
I really don t know about Ataturk crimes in Balkan’s countries.
I know that Turkey was lost 1ST Balkan war 1912 against Balkan league (Serbia & Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria). As result, Turkey lost large territory which was under her control. And finally Turks were driven from Balkan and they never come back.
So, I really don t know about his crimes in Balkans against ortodox people but I know something about genocide of Armenia people.

Don’t forget though, that Turkey in the 30’s signed numerous pacts with Greece and some other Balkan states. Turkey was nearly an ally of Greece in WW2 (Hellenic Ministry of Defence makes this assertion, if you want I can cite the sourcing if you want). In fact, Ioannis Metaxas wanted to remain neutral for the duration of WW2, something that Turkey was able to keep as it had not been subsequently attacked by Italy on October 28, 1940.
