Hi,
Think that we stopped for too long.
On behalf of tom! here we go:
Regards,
Damazy
Good afternoon gentlemen
it is for sure a japanese aircraft with inline engine, therefore I would say Kawasaki Ki32 “Mary”?
Carson1934
Hello.
Absolutely fabulous! You are quick and correct my friend. It is indeed Kawasaki’s Ki-32 nose with installed Kawasaki Ha-9-II V-12 liquid cooled engine.
Your turn.
Regards,
Damazy
Good morning to everybody!
here’s my offer and I apologize for the pic quality which isn’t first class…the career of this aircraft was plagued with difficulties in his native country but it proved nevertheless rather successful in different export countries
Carson1934
Hi,
Think it could be one of the Vultee’s aircrafts. Most probably V-11. Anyway, the sight looks fake, don’t you recon?
Regards,
Damazy.
It is the Vultee V-11, look at the landing gear in this picture but the sight does look like it’s been painted in.
Yes Damazy it is indeed the Vultee V11 and my compliments for guessing it so fast in spite of my poor picture: by the way it looks like it was largely photoshopped.
Now we are all looking forward to your challenge…
Carson1934
Good evening Kiwimac (good morning for you) and good to hear from you…
I think we’re all indebted to you for the excellent pic of Vultee V11-GBT in turkish service…of course the laurels go to Damazy who answered first
Cheers
Carson1934
Hello Damazy
your challenge is a Braunschweig LF1 “Zaunkönig”, in particular your picture shows version V1 “Versuch 1” i.e. still being tested and still without any markings…
Cheers
Carson1934
Good afternoon gentlemen,
may I take this opportunity to challenge you with this rather old floatplane?
Cheers
Carson1934
Hi,
It’s a French flying boat bomber Latham 43HB3 in Polish service. This machine belongs to “Rugia” squadrone based in Puck. Photo was taken in Gdynia cicrca 1926.
Regards,
Damazy
Absolutely correct my dear friend and compliments for your speedy reply and your enviable knowledge.
The stage is now yours
Cheers
Carson1934
Good afternoon Damazy
I would say a nice squadron of IMAM RO44"Idrocaccia" (fighter-floatplane) of 1936.
Easier for me because, as you know, I’m italian…
Carson1934
Hi,
Spot on! According to: Ali d’Italia No.12. IMAM RO43/44, Torino 2000, p.45 these aircrafts serviced in 166 Squadrilla and photo was taken in 1940.
I simply counted on you, my friend. Anyway, it is always a pleasure to play with you. Your turn.
I am off for two weeks. So, see you soon and enjoy the game without me (for a while).
Regards,
Damazy.
Have a good time Damazy wherever you’re off to…
Now this is my next challenge, i.e. a small airliner which didn’t have luck as civilian transport plane but which turned into a rather well known light bomber…
Good luck
Carson1934
