210-mm howitzer

A German 210-mm howitzer (21 cm Mörser 18) found by the soldiers of the U.S. 11th Armored Division abandoned near the town of Mayen, in Germany. - The 21 cm Mörser 18 (heavy howitzer) (21 cm Mrs 18) was a German heavy howitzer used in the Second World War by independent artillery battalions and batteries. A number were also used by coast defense artillery units.

It seems to be missing its recoil dampers

Not exactly. Guns of that or similar caliber were usually moved in two -some in three- pieces: "Rohrwagen" (~barrel wagon) and "Lafettenwagen" (~carriage wagon). Obviously the photo shows the barrel wagon only, not a complete gun.
