The photo called “88mm pointing skywards” http://www.ww2incolor.com/gallery/germans?page=16 is not a picture taken during the war but actually picture of “Debora” the 88mm field piece manned by the members of the Kriegsmarine Küstenabtielung from Tulsa OK. Pics taken of our unit have been praised by KM coastal vets as to be so real.
