No Ice in evidence so probably a chilly day but not yet as cold as it got in the North Atlantic… the Canadians had to chip the ice off with an axe to stop their corvettes from getting top heavy

These sailors deserve our respect.The North Atlantic was at times a horrible place to be.Knowing what we do now concerning the Russian front…at least he had warm quarters and chow after his shift.
