A run in with Japanese soldiers after the end of the War

Watching it right now. It’s such a crazed story it is.

One thing i learned from the story is that MacArthur ordered the props removed from the remaining Japanese planes. I never heard that before, I wonder what other changes were instituted?

That’s insane really! I remember reading in “Strong men armed” by Robert Leckie where that final (Japanese) soldier on Guadalcanal was in 1947. I believe even though the Japanese were a brutal enemy, they were a honorable opponent.
