The half-track is the SdKfz 251/7 engineer variant. It carried two small assault foot bridges, mines and other equipment. It was assigned to the Panzer pioneer companies. Armament was several MG34 or 42 machineguns. In the early war years it also had a Panzerbuchse 39 7.92 mm. antitank rifle.
