Well, you could do so, liable to pay costs. Another option would be to get the photos at Wikimedia Commons(http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Bundesarchiv) by searching for the individual signature of each photo (e.g. Bild 101I-022-2935-10A). Those are without the disturbing watermarkings.
I don’t understand that, anyway. Why place these annoying watermarks on them on their own website, but leave them away on a third-party site… just doesn’t make any sense…
It’s basically the fact that the “Bundesarchiv” allocated their photos (thousands actually) to “Wikimedia Deutschland” just a couple of months ago. Before that they charged everyone who wanted to get their pix without watermarkings.
