American outrage.

US public opinion reacted with outrage to the mistreatment of American prisoners by the Imperial Japanese Army on the infamous "Bataan death march" in the Philippines, an early example, unfortunately, of the contemptuous approach taken by the Japanese to their prisoners. This outrage is expressed quite clearly in this official US Army poster. The poster is interesting insofar as it neither a straight recruiting poster nor a "home information" type poster. Rather, it appears to be an exhortation to all - civilian and military - to do their utmost towards victory over the dastardly Jap. Best regards, JR.

I suspect this is a repost.
