American Unsung Heroes

Calvin Graham
Who Was He?
He was a 12 yr old boy who lied about his age and managed to get accepted into the American Navy in 1942. He was awarded the bronze star and the purple heart. When the authorities found out his age, they stripped him of his medals and he had to fight to get them back, only getting back his purple heart after he died.
Calvin Graham represents the true American Spirit that drives and thrives in our youth to be part of this wonderful country, God Bless America and God Bless Calvin Graham a true American hero at Heart!

If you know of an unknown WW-2 Hero, lets here about him/her

When the U.S. WW2 Memorial was dedicated a few years ago, I met two veterans who had stitched onto their caps the words “Too Young to Serve”. But serve they did. One was 14 when he enlisted and the other 15. They said when the war broke out they just had to get in the military. It was great to meet those guys.
