Well this is not in color but its one of my favorite WW1 pics.

A French soldier is hit by German fire Verdun region - 1916

wow. Thats deep.

Ya you can kinda gather from the pic just what a massive massecre this war was. Pretty pointless…WW2 was just WW1 continued.

Yea, what a waste of life

Only thing I dont understand is how this pic was shot???

Some courages camera man who just quickly shot a couple of rounds and managed to get that pic.

There was this one photographer who went on the D-Day landings and actually went with the troops. He didnt get very far, just took a few pictures and ran back to the vessels.

Do you think that during WW1 there were color foto at all?

It seems that it was possible!!! Check the links:

sorry for my english  ,but what means piss???

WW1 was pointless. And while the man of the Black Hand who assassinated Arch Duke Franz Firdenhand sat in prison, thousands of men were being blown to little peices by artillery…

Completely Pointless. It proves (and shows) how stupid humans can be…

the photographer who you are thinking about is rober capa he worked for time magazine at the time he took many pictures of dday and when heading back his boos was so eager he printed them out as soon as possible and they where destroyed except for 11 the in the korena war capa was killed
