Hello - I was wondering if anyone has come across ariel or ground shots of the bombings in or near Wimbledon, or even information about the bomings to the surrounding areas near London.
My father always talked about the bomb shelter in the back yard, the house next door being destroyed and watching bomers go by.
I have always been interested in WWII and this is the best site I have found that takes you back. Also thank you to those who post pictures with notes decribing the shots, you have a different feel for the moment of the picture when you understand it.
