They are Awesome pictures Erwin, Mate.!!!
I specifically like the one of the soldier and the kitten, Aussies love animals :smiley: .
I also like your picture of the men practicing throwing up their rifles, thats a fantastic photo. 8)

The floating rifles belong to the US Marines dont they? I dont think they are part of the Aussie military.

Yes-

(a) he’s in Israeli uniform
(b) I’ve seen it before, when it was taken. I’ll try and find the link
(c) He’s armed with an M-16 and the Aussie army uses Steyr Aug

Definitaly Isreali, Irsraeli uniform and helmet. Looks similar to UK skid lid. Well thats 2 photos that are wrong then.

It’s a good picture Erwin. I’ve seen a lot of American ‘support our troops in Iraq’ sites claiming that he’s American to, while I was searching for the original place I saw it.

The ones throwing their rifles in the air are definitely American to, by the way.

My pictures ARE authentic Australian, most of them are off the Australian Army defence site.(which is the main army site of the australian military)
Some pictures are off random australian sites.

And I thought we had been through this. The Israeli with the cat isnt an Aussie.

The US Marines in Dress US Marine Uniform slinging US rifles that to my knowledge Aussies have never used, arent Aussies either.

Unless of course you mean all of the photos were taken by Aussie military personnel?

So those 2 are wrong.

I remember seeing the Marine drill team back in the eighties (I think) at the Edinburgh Tattoo. unlike the photo posted they do their stuff with bayonets fixed, As an Englishman I am genetically programmed to titter at this sort of thing but have to admit it was impressive to watch.
