Bigger Photos on this website ?

Why are the photos so small on the PHOTOs website ?

I could see more detail if they were bigger.

I already searched for an answer about this before posting but no answer found.

The site actually does upload images in their original size but I’m not aware of an easy way to expand them.

Here’s the tricky annoying but successful way.
Look to the right of the image and you’ll see “HTML Formatted Links” and “Show clickable resized image linking to original:”, copy the “Show clickable resized image linking to original:” and paste it in to your URL bar and then delete “<a href=”" (Note deleted part has an " after it) along with and including everything after “”><img src="" (Note deleted part has " before and after it) then load the link as any other link and you’ll have the original sized image.

It’s a nice picture of a Panther giving birth…

Yet people still call it a Tiger II

What a stupid nuisance this site is for that !

What’s so hard about putting a clickable link to view the original / larger image ?!

I have viewed a couple of images at the large size with the slow copy-paste-edit-html-link method
and they have much more impact.

You may find things easier going on the photo side of the site, its a separate sign up, but its all to do with photos. If you wish a particular answer to your questions, you might PM Administrator “Procyon” He will have an answer for you.

this is very nice images of Army. this is really good post by you.

The site software might not contain that option.

My bad, hard to scale from the ***!

No your correct, it’s posted on the image side and some think/thought Tiger II others (Myself included) Panther, I was poking fun at that

It does look like a Panther, but I’m more familiar with the Mark V than with the Tiger Royale…

The image is of a Panther, which has the inspection/access ports in the same configuration. It also has the rear mounted sponson box that was common on the Panther, although one is missing, The Panther hull has integral lifting hooks at the top back of the hull, where the Tiger II has eyes, with large shackles for lifting, and no sponson boxes. Also the tracks of the Tiger II are a full meter wide, those in the image are not nearly that. Though I didn’t know that a Proctologist was part of the maintenance crew…
