Bofors gun?

Dummy Bofors AA gun and crew in the Anzio bridgehead, 21 March 1944. A question: but the German fell really for this sort of device? Victor Sierra

I guess that they did not need the Germans to fall for this for a really long time. If for example one plane strafed this dummy in one run instead of another one, time was bought to bring the plane down. More than that was not needed I think.
