Books devoted to tank combat?

Anyone have any recommendations? I’ve got one of the Panzer Aces books, but I was wondering if there were any encyclopedia style books on the subject, with diagrams, in depth writing about particular battles, that sort of thing.

the memoirs of colonel hans von luck its not really a encyclopedia style but i think it would help i have not read it yet but i heard it is good.

This is just what I found on Amazon in 5 minutes time.

“Death traps; The Survival of an American Armored Division in World War II”

Cutthroats: The Adventures of a Sherman Tank Driver in the Pacific

Tank Driver: With the 11th Armored from the Battle of the Bulge to VE Day

Hellcats: The 12th Armored Division in World War II

Thanks for the responses.

Look up the writings of Kenneth Macksey,(also under MacKsey) he has authored nearly 50 books concerning war, many of which focus, in general, or in particular, on armor.

I would recommend Panzer Tactics, german small units armor tactics in world war 2 from Wolfgang Schneider.
The book is filled with pictures and maps of battle and the tactics used.
