Can anyone help with the badge on the helmet in the picture. It looks like William of Orange and by what I can make out the words are Young followers of William 111.

the helmet probably belonged to either an Northern Irish loyalist Para military or an Orange Order organisation. I don’t think it has any official military connotations. If you Google up William III, you will find all you need to know about him and Protestant Ireland.
