British RAF in Korean War

Hello all,

I’m a UK model maker interested in the lone Cessna Bird Dog ‘acquired’ by 1913 Light Liason Flight RAF in Korea during 1951. I know that it was given RAF markings although no RAF serial, but I’ve drawn a blank on any other details of camouflage scheme etc. I’d like to build this little aircraft from the Airfix kit once more available in the UK, so if anybody out there has further info or, even better, knows of any photos showing it in RAF service, I’d really appreciate a pointer in the right direction.

Many thanks, Spigworth

Only pic I can fnd is poor. But it looks to be standard US camo with a RAF roundal

Very many thanks for that, it’s just what I’ve spent 6 months looking for! All the best & thankyou again.
