I’m preparing a short article about German operations on Sicily before and during the landing and the retreat to Italy. Unfortunately I don’t have any photos to illustrate he article and without them the text wont make it to the paper. Could someone assist me with some photos. I would be very grateful for some help.

Most of their images can be found in Wiki Commons without watermark. Don’t forget to credit the Bundesarchiv though.
