Hi i was looking at some old photos and found these, i know nothing about who is in them or what years or army they are from if anyone can help with any info on any of these pictures id be greatful
all i know is the none English bloke is called Bill (maybe surname begins with a G)
the writing is what’s one the back of the 3 together where there’s watches and a chest on show
the ship ain’t a great pic but can be saved and zoomed in with keeping picture clearish
the picture with 2 men standing and has been ripped also zooms in really well
then the others i really have no idea if they are army related (with some) or dates etc
anymore info needed about the pictures them selves i can help with but about what they are of or what dates etc i can’t lol
In the last picture, they are wearing caps with what I believe to be Fleur-de-lis badges. the only regiment I know that wore them was the Manchester Regiment. The first one appears to be wearing a black beret, so he might be a tanker. Wish I could get a clearer look at his ribbons, I’m afraid I can’t help much more than that.
