Captured Me 262 B-1a (two-seated training version) at Lechfeld/Germany, summer 1945.
This plane is completely restored and has been flown. It is the LAST ME-262 two Seater Trainer.
It can be seen at the Delaware Valley Historical Museum at Willow Grove Naval Air Station.
I have several photos of it as it is now. It was taken apart piece by piece to make reproductions and completely restored.
The first reproduction flew over Berlin I believe in 2006 at the Air Show.
The cost $1,000,000 a piece. I believe they want to make 5 planes total.
