I think some where on the WW2inColor site, either on the forum or photo section, a phto of an GI killed by a sniper was brought up.
Anyway here is a page from a book “LIFE’S PICTURE HISTORY OF WORLD WAR”, 1950, where that pictures is presented with 3 others so that one can get a story behind.
