These 2 commemorative postcards appear to depict the death in Russia of 2 brothers. They seem to have died around the same time. both in late 1941.

No matter the country or the politics it is always very sad to have a loved one die in war. To have two die had to be a heart break for this family. The Sullivan Family lost 5 sons on the same United States ship in WWII in the Pacific. Five telegrams five young men and brothers.
