There are some great pictures in the gallery (mods - difficult to find a link though to the galleries from the main page. Would one of you mind embarrassing me and pointing it out?), but there are a couple of innaccuracies which should be corrected.
Can someone correct a couple of titles from the galleries please?

is not of SHERMANs fitted with DD (Duplex Drive) kits, but instead of SHERMANs fitted for deep wading.

Those aren’t US troops if the pic was taken after about 1942 (and the LST’s in the background suggest at least 1943). I think they are British or Commonwealth. There is a similar picture in the US Marines section.
When I get a bit of spare time, I’ll supply captions for some of the vehicles in the galleries.
