The Vietnam War cost alot of young soldiers their life. This war also took its tole on the overall moral of the US.The United States also lost valuable supplies. The Vietnam War was indeed a costly war.
Indeed.
Those lost supplies created a lot of job and economic prosperity for quite a bit.
There were lots of good jobs then if you were exempt from service.
The 58,000 dead were not such a positive aspect.
Niether were the additional hundreds of thousand wounded.
The social turmoil gave us reason to take a harder look at government in general.
We are still working on that one.
