Croatian General Stanzer inspecting troops

The supreme commander of the regular Croatian Army in WW2, General Slavko Stanzer (1872-1945), inspects a newly deployed regiment of Bosnians. By the end of the war Stanzer was captured by Tito partisans and sentenced to death by the gallows. The night before his execution however he died in his cell of natural causes.
