29 were landed (one was stuck on LCT so went back to UK), 2 drowned so never made the beach (the were landed in over 6ft of water).

27 made the beach and 15 climbed the sea wall onto the promenade leaving 12 stuck on the beach not 5. 10 of those subsequently returned to the beach as they could not progress into the town due to barriers that the Engineers failed to destroy on the promenade.

Another 30 Churchills constituted the floating reserve and were never used.
