I know that it’s not a book but a manga, but i don’t know where post it. This manga is based upon book Tiger im schlamm, a book of Otto Carius, German WWII panzer ace that destroy 150 enemy tanks during war. It focus on resistence of small formation of German in Narwa sector, Estonia against superior Soviet forces. The manga is very detailed, and explains technical aspect of warfare and veichles. It includes pictures from travel of Hayao Miyazaki, the well-know manga animator that make this manga, in Narwa sector and visit to Otto Carius.
I did a bit of quick research and found the following site. It has original Japanese text with English translations. I found it kind of interesting, and thanks burp.
