East & West

If Hitler had not declared war on the Soviet Union, and if they had not attacked him, do you think he’d be able to bounce the Allies back into the English Channel with his full military? (Remember, most of the well experience soldiers were sent to the Eastern Front)

What do you think? Thoughts, Opinions?

He may have been able to go farther, for awhile, but the Allies were producing far too many resources, while reducing Germany’s ability to produce theirs. It would in all probability have ended in the same way, only perhaps a little later. and if too much later, Berlin would have been incinerated, followed by as many other areas vital to Germany’s war effort, as we had “bombs” for - Baron Raspenau -

I believe Hitler would have seen a lot of success against the Western Allies on a single front. The Germans were woefully supplied for the winter battles in Russia and the Russian/German hatred for each other caused many more casualties. I was once able to speak to a person who lived in Germany and whose family fought against the Russians. He was wounded and went towards the Americans, because he knew that it would be better to be captured by the Americans or British.
