For first, the fact is that Yu partisans liberated country from germans by themselves, which is great thing. there was so much divisios in armed forces, that some fought on axis side, such as croatian Ustashas and Domobrans and serbian Chetnics, while partisans faoght aganst them, germans, italians, romanians, hungarians. and they won!

They won with Soviet support. I think that coach was talking too much generally. For instance: On Romanians, no Romanian units has been involved in fights in Yugoslavia against partisans up to September 1944. And on September 1944 when Russians reached very easily (due to Romania’s act on 23rd of August 1944) the Romanian-Yugoslav border, no Romanian units were involved in fight against partisans (at that time we were on Allied side).

They do look unsurprisingly like ZB26’s*, aka Kulomet vz.26 / Puska-Mitralez M26, (German designation MG26(t) / MG146/1(j),) the forerunner of the cuddly bren and the ultra-cuddly LMG.
