This young woman is all ready to do her part in the conflict.
Growing up we had a Veteran with a German war bride. She had been in Weather Control with the German Air Force. We were about 12 years old and in her backyard. She was doing the garden in a beautiful pair of BLACK MARCHING BOOTS with a steel cleat that covered the heel. She was able to bring them along with her because she had so few personal items left from the war. I can still see them 50 years later, they were great.
Is she a "Flakhelferin"?
The lady is wearing a late-pattern Stabshelferin tunic, field trousers and canvas gaiters. (My guess - late 1944)
