I’ve gotten the book for Christmas (as well as picking up a copy given to me by a friend, so I have two). Excellent read so far as Bradley fills the book not only with personal ancedotes of his father (a Navy Corpman on Iwo Jima) and his father’s Marine comrades, but also includes a good deal of the wider political and military background of all levels.
