Let start with the football topic.

I present my team of loves, Boca Juniors, not only the best football team from Argentina, the best football team from America.
Boca Juniors (the half plus one, as is knowed in spite of the so many simpathizers it have) have a rich history of succees, for example:

*20 National tournaments
*5 Copas Libertadores de América (“Liberators from America” Cup)
*3 Copas Intercontinental (“Intercontinental” Cup, between the champion of the Liberators and the champion of the Champions League)
*And other 15 tournaments, nationals and internationals tournaments.

Here some photos of the stadium, the “Bombonera” (Chocolate sweets box)…

Excellent players went to Europe after his passing from this club, for example

*Diego Maradona
*Gabriel Batistuta
*Román Riquelme
*Juán Sebastián Verón
*Claudio Paul Caniggia
*Sebastián Battaglia

The Former Coach Carlos Bianchi with the Intercontinental Cup, in Japan. Boca Juniors won against AC Milan (Italy) it third Intercontinental Cup, in 2003.

The actual central forward Martín Palermo

I hope you’ll put info about football… things about football are allowed!

My favourite teams = Panathinaikos and Everton

and Stanmore Hawks in the New South Wales Winter Super League

Panathinaikos are known as the ‘Green’ team of Greece

the team in the red is Olympiakos which is Pao’s rival, and have one of the biggest rivalries in all of Europe

You sad bastard

LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB

Formed in 1892, when John Houlding had the good sense to throw Everton out of Anfield and set his own club up (they couldn’t afford the rent, setting a trend for the next 120 years of them being a small time bunch of no mark gobshites). The most succesful club in Britain - 18 League titles, 5 European Cups, 6 FA Cups, 7 League Cups, 3 UEFA Cups, 2 European Super Cups and 14 Charity Shields.

Famous for having the most passionate fans in the UK, and possibly the world, the world famous Spion Kop stand in full blast is still a sight to behold and one that most football fans would rate as one of the sights to see in world football. The world famous anthem “You’ll Never Walk Alone” is sang before every game, usually as the teams walk onto the pitch and has been said to be as good as a goal start for the Reds. The atmosphere at Anfield (especially on European nights) is truly unbelievable - the history and the modern fans join to make every European night special - and just ask Juventus and Chelsea what a real Anfield European night can do to some of the best players in the world. Other famous songs sang at Anfield include ‘Scouser Tommy’ the story of a young Scouse lad going to war in North Africa and ‘Fields of Anfield Road’ the Scouse version of ‘Fields of Athenry’.

Some of the best players in the world have also played for the Reds. These include ‘Sir’ Roger Hunt, ‘King’ Kenny Dalglish, John Barnes, Peter Beardsley, Ian Rush, Robbie ‘God’ Fowler, Steve McManaman, Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard, Fernando Morientes and Xabi Alonso.
The current favourite player is, however, not one of the world class superstars, but a local born centre back. Jamie Carragher is the embodiment of everything that fans want in their players. He never gives up - after going down with cramp in extra time of the 2005 European Cup Final, ‘Carra’ got back up and twenty seconds later was stretching full length to put a cross out for a corner, going down with cramp again as he did so. He got back up to defend the corner and played the rest of the match in agony - he can even be seen during the cup presentation in pain trying to stretch the cramp out.

Songs Sang At Anfield:

You’ll Never Walk Alone

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark

Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Tho’ your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone
You’ll never walk alone

Fields of Anfield Road

Outside the Shankly Gates
I heard a Kopite calling
Shankly they have taken you away
But you left a great eleven
Before you went to heaven
Now it’s glory round the Fields of Anfield Road.

All round the Fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play)
We had Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

Outside the Paisley Gates
I heard a Kopite calling
Paisley they have taken you away
You led the great 11
Back in Rome in 77
And the Redmen they are still playing the same way
All round the Fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play)
We had Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

Liverbird On My Chest

Here’s a song about a football team
The greatest team you’ve ever seen
A team that play total Football
They’ve won the league, Europe and all.

A Liverbird upon my chest
We are the men, of Shankly’s best
A team that plays the Liverpool way
And wins the championship in May

With Kenny Dalglish on the ball
He was the greatest of them all
And Ian Rush, four goals or two
Left Evertonians feeling blue

A Liverbird upon my chest
We are the men, of Shankly’s best
A team that plays the Liverpool way
And wins the championship in May

Now if you go down Goodison Way
Hard luck stories you hear each day
There’s not a trophy to be seen
'Cos Liverpool have swept them clean

A Liverbird upon my chest
We are the men, of Shankly’s best
A team that plays the Liverpool way
And wins the championship in May

Now on the glorious 10th of May
There’s laughing reds on Wembley Way
We’re full of smiles and joy and glee
It’s Everton 1 and Liverpool 3

A Liverbird upon my chest
We are the men, of Shankly’s best
A team that plays the Liverpool way
And wins the championship in May

Now on the 20th of May
We’re laughing still on Wembley Way
Those Evertonians are feeling blue
It’s Liverpool 3 and Everton 2

A Liverbird upon my chest
We are the men, of Shankly’s best
A team that plays the Liverpool way
And wins the championship in May

And as we sang round Goodison Park
With crying blues all in a nark
They’re probably crying still
at Liverpool 5 and Everton nil.

A Liverbird upon my chest
We are the men, of Shankly’s best
A team that plays the Liverpool way
And wins the championship in May

We Remember them with pride
Those mighty reds of Shankly’s side
And Kenny’s boys of '88
There’s never been a side so great

A Liverbird upon my chest
We are the men, of Shankly’s best
A team that plays the Liverpool way
And wins the championship in May

Now back in 1965
When great Bill Shankly was alive
We’re playing Leeds, the score’s 1-1
When it fell to the head of Ian St John

A Liverbird upon my chest
We are the men, of Shankly’s best
A team that plays the Liverpool way
And wins the championship in May

On April 15th '89
What should have been a joyous time
Ninety six Friends, we all shall miss
And all the Kopites want justice (JUSTICE)

Poor Scouser Tommy

Let me tell you the story of a poor boy
Who was sent far away from his home
To fight for his king and his country
And also the old folks back home

So they put him in a Highland division
Sent him off to a far foreign land
Where the flies swarm around in their thousands
And there’s nothing to see but the sands

In a battle that started next morning
Under an Arabian sun
I remember that poor Scouser Tommy
Who was shot by an old Nazi gun

As he lay on the battle field dying dying dying
With the blood gushing out of his head (of his head)
As he lay on the battle field dying dying dying
These were the last words he said…

Oh… I am a Liverpudlian
I come from the Spion Kop
I like to sing, I like to shout
I go there quite a lot (every week)

We support the team that’s dressed in Red
A team that we all know
A team that we call Liverpool
And to glory we will go

We’ve won the League, we’ve won the Cup
We’ve been to Europe too
We played the Toffees for a laugh
And we left them feeling blue - Five Nil!

One two
One two three
One two three four
Five nil!

My girlfriend’s a Southampton fan!
Now we can strike a deal - I’ll stop making fun of Southampton being in the ‘Championship’ if I can can choose her football posters. Beattie has to go anyway. Quitter
