10.5cm. Flugabwehrkanone 39. The earlier FLAK 38 was designed to a specification formulated in 1933. The FLAK 38 entered service in 1936. The FLAK 39 differed from the 38 in having a sectioned barrel and improved electrical and data transmissions systems. It could fire a 15.1 kilogram projectile to a maximum ceiling of 12,800 meters. Maximum rate of fire was 15 rounds per minute. Barrel length was L/63. The weapon looks like a scaled up '88 at first glance.
