Hello gentlemen

I am an artist and militaria collector as well. Recently I am doing a project of drawings to sketch the WW2 Aces, I have done 14 drawings so far. They are all from my original pencil sketchings.

I sketched them based on the photos, so tried to post some pictures on this forum. But oops, I can’t coz I just registered:shock:

Anyway, just let this thread as a “say hello” to dear memebers here. I will upload some photos to this thread when I am able to.

I think this is a very useful picture for this purpose, just in case you don’t have it, this is Michael Wittmann, the german tank ace, sitting in the turret of it’s Tiger tank.

Thanks Kurt. I have sketched two pictures of Wittmann. One is quite different from this one. Another is quite similar to this, I think it was just any photo taken at the same time.

Will upload them anyway when I am able to…
