Well that’s what war always is, a waste of men and equipment. But it’s scary to think what would have happened if Hitler had just focused on one campaign at a time. Rommel came close to capturing Egypt and the majority of the supplies at that time were going to the Eastern Front. If Hitler had waited one more year for Barbarossa it would have been a much longer war……
